Felicity Jones is an British actor best known for the role of Jane Hawking. She played her role on The Theory of Everything, the film that received acclaim from critics. Jones has worked in theatre, film as well as television since she was 12 years old. Jones began her acting career with the TV movie The Treasure Seekers. Later, in The Worst Witch she played Ethel Hallow. Then came Weirdsistersisters, a sequel to The Worst Witch. She also played Young Ruth in her first film Flashbacks of a Fool and later on, she starred in a variety of films. In films such as The Invisible Woman and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 she earned fame for her role. It was, however, her performance on The Theory of Everything that brought her an Oscar for the very first time. Jones was praised by both critics and audiences because she played the character of Hawking's wife as she appeared in the Stephen Hawking biopic. Inferno featuring Tom Hanks was next on her resume. Jones won an award called the British Artist of year award in the year 2016 by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles. It was awarded for her amazing ability and contributions to cinema.
