Molly Tarlov is an American actor best known for her starring role as Sadie Saxton in the teen comedy-drama TV show Awkward, since 2011. Tarlov was raised within Manhattan, New York, being the younger of two daughters. At the age of 10, Tarlov began her career as an actor in the show Bye Bye Birdie, at Little Red School House. The group of 7th students who saw the production were awestruck. When she grew older, she was a summer student at Interlochen Center for the Arts as well as in Paris studying with NYU's Tisch. Bennington College gave her training on various forms of acting. The Atlantic Theater Company also taught her, and she was able to incorporate writing in to her performance through the LAByrinth Theater Masters Course. Molly changed her dark winter jacket for a pair of sunglasses in black and headed to Los Angeles. Her parents were thrilled with her performance with just three words iCarly. She's since made several television series and portrayed Caitlin her main character in Winnie and Savannah Dooley's ABC Family show Huge. Molly is a fan of thinking she's an athlete, however she's actually not. Her favourite writers include David Mamet, Henrik Ibsen and Lauren Iungerich.
