Katherine Heigl reveals her experiences living in a white bubble affected the way she raised her family of multiracial origins. However, after meeting her Korean-American adopted older sister, she realised the distinction between how others were treated by her. I asked Meg if, when she was out with her parents she got a particular treatment while out on her own she got a completely different kind of treatment. She responded "Oh Yes! All the times!" Heigl admitted to parents, "That made me realise how foolish I was." Heigl admitted she became angry and felt that she needed to channel her anger towards helping her adopted daughters. Heigl has a son who is 4 years with Josh Kelley, her husband over the last 13 years. They have adopted Nancy Leigh from South Korea aged 12 in 2009, followed by Adalaide who was 8 years old and is Black in 2012.
